Notes from 1st Semester have been moved to the tab above labeled, "Archive - 1st Semester."
Class notes are available for students to complete in class. If they are not finished, notes are to be taken either at home or before class time and are on video for students to access at anytime they need thereafter.
** Students who do not complete the requested notes at home prior to class will not be prepared for in-class activities and assignments, and may likely fall behind a little further each time he/she skips this process. This also leaves students with NO REFERENCE material at home to look back upon.
Students are given a note sheet on which to write - On the video, I use the same note sheet, and students simply fill in everything I write. In this process, I cover anything from vocabulary, detailed step-by-step examples & special tips and tricks.
* Every entry should have an entry in the Table of Contents and include a page number
* Every page should be numbered
* Notes should be NEAT and ORGANIZED in order to be helpful for students to reference.
* Note pages should be glued into the journal on the appropriate page
* Math Journals MUST come home each night to help with HW and come back to school each day for use in class.
You will always see 2 items listed for a topic:
1. Note Sheet (This is the sheet that was handed out in class to students for note taking)
2. Video (This video MUST be watched by the student in order to fill out the notes &
receive the lesson. This takes the place of me standing in front of the class lecturing
while the students take notes.
